One way she learned from ELLE magazine is adding a few drops of lavender oil into the water you use to mop your floor. According to her, after she did that for three times in a period of time, there’s no more ant running around in her home.
Another way she learned is pouring baby powder around where you don’t want ants to go near, you can pour it at the doors and windows frames, around the recycle bin, or anywhere you can think of. Frugal Gardening points out you can use vinegar in the same way to keep ants away.
