How to Peel a Hard Boiled Egg Fast?

Peeling hard boiled eggs could be a tedious job when you don’t know the right ways to do it. WikiHow shares few methods to get rid of egg shell rather quickly. Here are two of my favourite methods:

1. Cool the egg in cold water. Crack both ends of the egg by tapping the egg. Crush the shell by placing the side of the egg on a hard surface and rolling forward for one revolution with your palm firmly down on the top of the egg. After that you can easily slip the entire shell off in a bowl of warm water.

2. When eggs are done boiling, pour off boiling water, cover eggs with cold water, cover pan with snug fitting lid and shake pan vigorously. When you open the lid, the shell will be broken into hundreds of tiny pieces and simply rinsed off the eggs. Very quick and cool.

Other than the methods above, recently there’s a “magical” method demonstrated in a video clip that’s widely spread over the Internet. Basically what you do is to crack both ends of the egg by tapping the egg and remove the cracked pieces, then just blow into the egg from one end and that’s it! It’s the fastest method, but not the best thing to do if you’re peeling the egg for someone else xD.
