Good news for Play Station 2 owners (and bad news for others), Namco will release Soul Calibur III on October 25th for Play Station 2 only! You can have a sneak preview of the screenshots at GameSpy.
According to GameSpy:
Players can assume the role of more than 20 classic characters and three new ones as they follow their fate in the Tales of Souls. Users can even battle it out against their friends in the ever-popular versus match or create their own original characters with Creation mode. For the ultimate challenge, gamers can even rise through the ranks in the World Competition mode and explore the history of past Soulcalibur games with in the Museum.
