Optical Illusions And Visual Phenomena

Lilac Chaser

You probably have seen the animation image above. If you haven’t, stare at the cross in the center of the image and try not to move your vision away. If it’s done right, after a few seconds you will see the circling light green circle “eating” off those pink circles, leaving only the light green circle moving in its orbit.

The optical illusion above was named as the Lilac Chaser, it is one of the optical illusions included in Dr Michael Bach’s (University of Freiburg, Germany) website: Optical Illusions and Visual Phenomena. You can find a total of 59 optical illusions and visual phenomena project on his website, showing you how deceitful our vision could be. Don’t fully trust what you see, because what you see may not be the truth!
